Project of the Střep organisation is focused on empowerement of children (10-15 years) from socially disadvantaged families with educational difficulties, which lead to a risk of the child to be moved to a creche. Střep works with the children using new techniques so they feel the sense in expressing themselves of their own behaviour, punishment, educational measures. They need to know how to communicate in a constructive way and take over responsibility for their behaviour and its consequences. There´s no reason for a withdrawal of a child from home just because of changes in the behaviour.
Did you know that our country ranks in the top positions in terms of numbers of children placed into house-care? Střep is traditionally and successfully going against this sad trend by closely working with children and families and trying to keep them together.
In February 2012 Fragilis distributed to Střep a total of CZK50k.
